1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dream Sailor, LLC (“Dream Sailor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of our website at dreamsailor.com (the “Site”) and our coaching, group salon, course, workshop, community, and newsletter offerings (together, the “Services”). By visiting the Site, booking a session, enrolling in a course, attending a salon or workshop, or joining our community or newsletter, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Services.
2. Description of Services
Dream Sailor is a dream and storytelling practice offering one-on-one coaching, small-group salons, guided courses, single-gathering workshops, and an online community and newsletter, for individuals and groups, including support for people navigating end of life and major life transitions. The specific scope, format, and price of any engagement will be confirmed directly with you before it begins.
3. Not Medical or Mental Health Care
Dream Sailor's services are a coaching and storytelling practice. They are not medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, grief counseling, or a substitute for any of those. Nothing offered through the Services should be treated as diagnosis or treatment of any physical or mental health condition, and no coach-client, therapist-client, or clinician-patient relationship is created by using the Services. If you are in crisis or need medical or mental health care, please contact a licensed provider or emergency services in your area.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, or use them under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
5. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations
- Sessions, salons, courses, and workshops are booked through the scheduling and payment tools linked from the Site (including Calendly) or arranged directly with us.
- Prices in effect at the time of booking apply unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be confirmed with you at booking; please give as much notice as you can if your plans change.
- Course and workshop fees may include a materials or minimum-commitment component, as described at the time of enrollment.
6. Community and User Conduct
Our newsletter and community spaces are meant to be places of honesty and care. When you participate, you agree not to harass or harm other members, misrepresent yourself, share someone else's private story without their consent, or use the space for spam or unrelated commercial promotion. We may remove content or restrict access for anyone who violates this.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site, and the written, visual, and course materials we provide as part of the Services, belong to Dream Sailor or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You're welcome to use them for your own personal practice; please don't reproduce, resell, or publicly redistribute them without our written permission. The dreams and stories you share with us remain yours.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular outcome. Your experience of coaching, salons, courses, workshops, and community will vary, and we make no promise about specific results.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Sailor, LLC and its founders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Dream Sailor, LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
